I first glanced at this book in the morning, and by the bottom of page 12 I discovered the answer to a question that had been bothering me for years. So I determined to read the rest of these short stories as soon as possible. Later that day I decided to go to my shop for some chores, but since it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and I saw the this book there on the front seat, I just sat out front in my truck for a minute to read a story or two. Well, that simple one or two stories turned into over two hours where I just sat in that truck in front of my shop and read the entire book. I never did go inside. I feel like it healed some things in me and put some things in order in my mind. There was no sugar coating or religious agenda in this book: just events told as they happened. It was not only an easy read, but I felt like I had actually experienced some beneficial and uplifting events while simply sitting in my truck. I can't explain it, but I felt changed after reading this book. I am not much of a reader, and I only own books by accident. I like bass boats a lot better than books. However, I did not even think about my bass boat sitting on the boat lift the entire Sunday afternoon I read this book. I felt peace and strength inside. Right book, right time. This is a great book full of stories about the mission field. I love the format of this book. The stories are very personal and real and they are short and easy to read. As you read through this book, you will be inspired by these stories of faith and miracles. Michael Ross is a blessing to the body of Christ.
